Need to edit an object? Try double-clicking first

Applies to AutoCAD 2000i and above

As handy as right-click shortcut menus have become, double-click editing, introduced in AutoCAD 2000i, is often the fastest method for editing an object. The next time you need to make a quick change to a single object, try double-clicking on it. Odds are, AutoCAD will open the appropriate dialog box required to make the changes. Objects supported by double-click editing include, but are not limited to: arcs, blocks, circles, hatches, leaders, lines, mlines, polylines, and xrefs.
